How did you meet?

We met through a mutual friend who had been wanting to set us up for a long time. However, I was in college five hours away and Brian was working, so the timing didn't feel quite right when we went out the first time! We stayed in touch, but it didn't really go anywhere at first...

Describe your first date.

Our first date was actually our second first date! We met when we were first introduced but quickly lost touch (because we were in different places in our lives). After I graduated college, I heard through the grapevine that Brian was doing well and single. I decided to reach out to him and he quickly got the hint. We went on our second "first" date in June of 2014 at a restaurant with outdoor fireplaces near the Buffalo waterfront. Six hours later, we decided to call it a night! We've been inseparable ever since. Best second first date ever!

Where was your first kiss?

With a little courage, I kissed Brian in his truck just before he dropped me off at home that night!

Who said "I love you" first?

Brian did! We were at a party when he said it, so I didn't really believe him. I told him if he really meant it, he'd remember to tell me in the morning...He did first thing the next day!

When did you know you found the one?

Brian says he knew instantly, but it took me a little longer than that. At the time, I had been planning to move away at the end of the summer so I wasn't really looking for anything serious. About a month into our relationship, I realized I'd never been so comfortable with someone else...he quickly became my best friend. We had fun together, he made me laugh, and he challenged me in a way I had never been before. Our mutual love for pizza didn't hurt his case either!
